If you are in business internationally, you MUST get Skype Pro. For $3 USD per month, I can't find anything else that makes more sense. Here are some of the ways I use this service for my international business:
- free skype-to-skype calls no matter where I am in the world, as long as I have an internet connection and headset.
- unlimited free calling to landlines and mobiles when the call originates and terminates in North America (USA+Canada)
- discounted skypein phone number for non-skype users to call me from their landline or mobile to my computer. caller pays the same as they would normally according to skypein area code, not where i am located...no matter where I am in the world.
- if I am not on my computer, I can either have my free voicemail pick-up the call or I can set-up my call forwarding to multiple numbers (cell, office, hotel) and whichever I pick-up first takes the call. There is a small per minute fee for call forwarding.
- the LOWEST international long distance rates when not calling skype-to-skype (ex: Dan was in Fiji and I called his Fiji cell phone for .28 cents per minute. I think he paid $5+.)
- my personal favorite...transfer calls to other skype users for free...or to landlines and mobiles for a call-forwarding fee.
