My Mid-Week-In-A-Glance

It's Wednesday...but feels like Friday night. My Monday started off with an escrow cancellation (boooooo...see next post), a new yoga class at Heaven on Earth Spa Club downstairs at my pad (Koolani...in case you didn't know) but lots of new activity on my property listings and leases!

Tuesday rolled around and every muscle in my body was aching...I mean even the muscle on top of my shoulder where you wouldn't think there was a muscle that could hurt....so I skipped my normal body sculpting class that I love and went hard on cardio for an hour...easy to do when you're watching Who Wants to Be a Supermodel on Bravo. After our workout we rushed off to the Hawaii Developer's Council luncheon at Oahu Country Club (have you ever been? it's gorgeous up there...the setting is divine). But guess what - next meeting is at the Cupola Theatre at the design center...yeah...another place I can walk to. love it. Anyway, Steve Hogan and Pat Lee were speaking in regards to the Honolulu High Capacity Corridor Project...very cool stuff once phase one (Kapolei to Ala Moana) is completed in 2012 which means 2022 in hawaiian time. But I support progress and growth so I'm down with "TheTrain". THEN I received the call from my business associate in the ATL...hedge fund looking for projects with minimum $50M per project...need packages by Wednesday for funding Monday...has $3B to fund...not M....B. Drop everything!

So, between brokers open houses at Koolani between 930-1130am on Wednesday morning, getting seller approval on sending out packages to hedge fund, having to choose trim color for Dan's new listing on Waialae Iki, monitoring agent's submission of transaction documentation, approving advertising copy for property listing for podcast, trying to convince hawaii hotel owner to give me package to submit to fund, reviewing other packages that fits fund criteria including Vegas strip casino - Seattle multi-use development project - Las Vegas industrial land, I had to track down Jason, my Central American partner who flew out to Costa Rica last night, to tell him about 530 acres in Golfito that I found before he travelled to our other listing in Golfito tomorrow.

PS - I couldn't work out today...muscles still hurt from yoga....
